front garden parterre - Dublin 6

BRIEF

During the complete renovation of period property in Ranelagh Dublin 6, homeowners approached us to continue the period design of houses interior into their front garden in suitable style.

DESIGN

A Formal Garden Design was presented in classical parterre style. Formal planting scheme with Buxus 'Box' hedging gave parterre's defining structure with ornamental Laurel Bay tree planted into centrepiece. White Hydrangea ‘annabelle’, Agaphantus 'african lilly' and English lavender fill the four flower beds. Taxus baccata 'Yew' hedging was planted around perimeter of garden for evergreen boundary. LED Garden Lighting on automatic timer highlights Specimen planting and Granite path to front door

Award

This is our most successful garden being awarded the Winner of the National Landscaping Awards in 2013 and Merit of Distinction in 2012 by the Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland.
